The Police Headquarters in Abuja recently paraded one Faith Nuhu and five others who specialised in child kidnapping and sale of children. The suspects, among them, a medical doctor, were arrested after Faith Nuhu, kidnapped three of her sister’s children but ended up selling two of them at N600,000 to one Evelyn Ojiaku, who operates an illegal maternity home at Owerri, Imo State. The kidnapped children, Grace Musa Idris, aged 13, Philip Musa Idris, 3, and Paul Musa Idris, were allegedly kidnapped by Faith from their home in Kafanchan, Kaduna State on the pretext of going to buy them biscuits. A father was arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly being caught by his son raping his young daughter, police in Nigeria said.
Lagos State police said that they have arrested 40-year-old Emeka Oguzie, after being accused of raping his 7-year-old daughter.
Oguzie of Suite 37, Ojokoro Construction, was charged with two counts of rape and one count of breach of the peace. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
He was booked into jail and was denied bail. According to the police investigation, the abuse unfolded in the suspect’s home.
The son of the suspect walked into his sister’s room to find his father raping the young girl. The boy told his mother what he saw, and she called the police.
The victim told investigators said her father had been having sex with her for some time.
Four men were arrested on charges of rape after allegedly abducting a teenage boy and gang raping him, police in Nigeria said.
Jigawa State police said that they have arrested 41-year-old Auwalu Idris, 28-year-old Abdullahi Rabiu, 25-year-old Nazifi Abba, and 18-year-old Abu Zaid Yusu, after being accused of raping the 16-year-old boy.

Army authorities say Special Forces prosecuting the war on terror in Nigeria’s north have arrested a Boko Haram Commander identified as Bulama Modu, who has for long been wanted by security agencies.
The troops also rescued 241 hostages particularly women and children.

Sani Usman, Acting Director, Army Public Relations, on Wednesday, advancing troops along Banki axis made tremendous progress during which they cleared two Boko Haram terrorists’ camps at Jangurori and Bulatori villages.
